When you turn to our team for mold testing services, you are sure to get accurate results.

Our team at Turners Underseal has extensive experience in dealing with mold. Although mold spores are tiny, they can spread quickly, forming colonies that can seriously damage your home. In addition, breathing in mold spores can cause a variety of negative health outcomes, including everything from respiratory issues to cognitive decline. If you suspect you have mold in your home, we encourage you to contact our team right away to schedule mold testing.

Mold Testing

For mold testing, our team uses a specialized device called an InstaScope. We feed a sample into the device, and the particles then flow into a chamber where a laser measures their size. If the particles are the right size to be mold spores, they then flow into another chamber, where they are illuminated with a UV flash lamp. Our team examines the particles as they pass under the UV light to see how they fluoresce, which will help us identify the specific contaminants present. The particles are then exposed to visible light, which provides more identifying information. With the InstaScope, we can quickly test your home for mold and get highly detailed, highly accurate results.

Once our team has finished the mold testing process, we’ll advise you on the next steps. If mold is indeed present, we can take care of the removal and restoration process for you. You can count on us to remove all traces of mold from your home and to take steps to protect your property from additional mold problems in the future.
